After World War II, numerous Nazis fled Germany to South America, seeking refuge from prosecution. This mass exodus involved high-ranking officials, war criminals, and sympathizers. Key destinations included Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay, where they often hid under false identities. Infamous escape routes like the "ratlines" facilitated their passage, aided by clandestine networks and sympathetic authorities. Notorious figures such as Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele found sanctuary, evading justice for years. Their presence sparked investigations, fueled conspiracy theories, and left a lasting legacy of intrigue surrounding post-war Nazi escape operations.

In this episode of the iKONIC Podcast we dive into the conversations on North Korea, untapped and unexplored travel destinations to even Somali Pirates. The hermit kingdom of North Korea never fails to shock and surprise. Their Dear Leader Kim Jong Un has made the country an open-air prison, it is even more secluded than ever before. As plenty of defectors were able to escape and provide more insight into what's happening inside of that odd country we get bits and pieces of the harsh reality they live in. Even though technology has rapidly progressed there are still many untapped places in the world that receive very few tourists. Some of these countries have a long history of not obeying human rights. A lot of these countries will purposely make it tough for foreigners to obtain a tourist visa or permit to visit their country especially difficult for journalists so they can maintain their power.

In episode two of the iKONIC podcast, hosts Nick & Konrad take a dive into a handful of topics starting with the rapid and dangerous evolution of Artificial Intelligence. Although technologies such as AI have made many parts of our lives easier it will of course affect humans in a negative way by making them lazy, much more stupid & ultimately jobless. We take it even a step further by comparing our technologically advanced world to the uncontacted tribes that still inhabit many corners of our earth today i.e Papua New Guinea, the Amazon in South America as well as the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and the infamous North Sentinelese. Although still operating on their own clock tribes in many of these areas have been forced to interact with modern-day people to help bring in money. In addition to tribes, we discuss the handful of individuals today who choose to live primitive hermit-type lifestyles like Agafia who lives deep in the Siberian wilderness or Michael Fomenko living in Australia's Queensland jungle.

With worldwide inflation skyrocketing, we dive into several ways one can better store the value of their money. Whether it is through cryptocurrencies or collectibles it is evident that faith in even the biggest of fiat currencies such as the US dollar has faded away. Several fiat currencies such as the Argentine Pesos & the Turkish Lira have dropped dramatically bringing great worry to their people.
Now big banks and other organizations are going to great lengths to make sure they have a piece of the crypto market and don't get left behind. We even see this with the recent approval of the Bitcoin Spot ETF which will allow stock market investors to gain exposure to BTC & Crypto which is a massive win for the crypto community. Additionally, with the Bitcoin halving less than 100 days away this is a great time for newcomers & veterans to brush up on their crypto knowledge.
Also up for discussion is the future of Oil & Crude as Electric Vehicles become increasingly more popular. As the demand for such cars rises the question pops up are we ever going to be able to sustainably power the world without having to rely on Oil? Are other sources such as wind & solar enough?
One thing for sure is that countries that came up on Oil seem to no longer have such a strong reliance on the commodity as they are building massive developments in the desert (such as the Line City) & developing their tourism infrastructure.
